The Georgia Bulldogs made a case to be ranked as the No. 1 team in the country after blowing out the Oregon Ducks 49-3.

The No. 3 Bulldogs looked just fine in the first game of their title defense, blasting No. 11 Oregon 49-3 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium on Saturday.

Even after losing five defensive players in the first round, including No. 1 pick Travon Walker, Georgia's defense was too fast and physical for the Ducks.

Georgia’s starting quarterback, Stetson Bennett finished with three total touchdowns.

Bennett showed immense confidence and looked in control of the UGA offense.

Georgia Bulldogs begin title defense with easy victory over Oregon Ducks.

Facing his former team, Oregon head coach Dan Lanning had no answers for Stetson Bennett and the Georgia offense.

The 49-3 win by the Bulldogs is the largest margin of victory in the history of the Chick-fil-A Kickoff game.
