Florida Crushes Over Utah with a thrilling 29-26 win on Saturday night.

Florida was ranked 38th in the preseason AP poll. That will climb after the thrilling 29-26 win over No. 7 Utah Saturday night.

The Gators did not have a great second half on defense and a lot of it was the lack of depth that showed up after intermission.

Burney's diving catch in the end zone not only won the game for Florida but avoided what likely would have been overtime if it had just been an incompletion.

Miller played a heck of a game, including the forced fumble at the goal line on a hit of Travion Thomas.

Florida had four penalties (two on kickoff returns) and the huge fumble on Montrell Johnson’s first carry as a Florida Gator.

Utah looked poised to win the game and Gators get the interception in the end zone, giving Billy Napier a victory in his first game as UF coach.

With 1:25 left in the game, the Gators lead 29-26. And by the timeout, they continued to lead the game.
